Who this is for

International companies selling into Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and German companies that want an agency which works on the technical layer as seriously as on content. We are NextWeb GmbH, based in Pfullingen near Stuttgart.

The German search market in one paragraph

Google’s share of search in Germany is higher than in the United States, which means Google’s rules are effectively the market’s rules. German queries lean on compound nouns, so a page that ranks for one phrase often misses a near-identical one. Commercial results are crowded with directories and comparison sites. And a page that is legally incomplete under German law — missing Impressum, broken consent layer — is a commercial risk before it is ever an SEO one.

How an engagement usually runs

1

Baseline, measured

We pull Search Console and analytics for your existing footprint in Germany, and we write down the numbers before we touch anything. Without a baseline recorded in advance, later claims of success cannot be checked.

2

Technical clearance

Indexability, canonical logic, rendering, internal linking, Core Web Vitals. This is where most sites entering a new market lose visibility for reasons that have nothing to do with their content: pages set to noindex by accident, hreflang that is not reciprocal, JavaScript that hides the navigation from crawlers.

3

Content that matches German intent

Written in German, not translated. Translation preserves your sentences and loses the query. We start from what people actually type, then write the page.

4

Authority

Editorial links from German-language sites, digital PR, and industry placements. Directory citations have their place but they do not move competitive terms.

5

Reporting you can audit

Monthly, from Search Console. Impressions, clicks, positions and the specific pages that moved — against the baseline from step one.

What we will not do

  • We do not guarantee positions. No agency can, and any that does is selling you something else.
  • We do not publish machine-translated pages at scale. Google’s spam policies treat that as scaled content abuse, and German readers notice immediately.
  • We do not buy links from networks.
  • We do not report third-party traffic estimates as if they were measured results.

Timeline, honestly

Technical fixes show up in weeks. Content and authority work on a horizon of months, not weeks — German commercial terms are contested and the incumbents have been there for years. What we can commit to is that every step is measured against a baseline recorded beforehand, so you can tell progress from noise.
